Alina Oswald is a writer and photographer based in NYC area, who has documented the HIV/AIDS, LGBT and artist communities for almost a decade. She has captured unconventional, inconvenient and sometimes taboo topics that populate and shape human reality and fantasy: darkness and depression, vampires and ghosts, life and the Afterlife. Her works have appeared in print and online publication, and showcased in NYC art shows and galleries. One of her photographs, ANGEL IN CENTRAL PARK, is now part of the National AIDS Museum collection. Alina Oswald's books include JOURNEYS THROUGH DARKNESS (a biography), VAMPIRE FANTASIES (a vampire-inspired photography collection) and THE AWAKENING.... (a dark and poetic collection of images)
